About Play Sport 4 Life
Play Sport4Life (PS4L) is a non-profit organization based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Our mission is to help improve the lives and well-being of our disadvantaged communities by providing athletic opportunities and using sports as a vehicle for a healthier lifestyle. We work to equip these communities with necessary life skills that helps them deal with day-to-day challenges, leading to a positive impact on all of the lives and communities involved.
Supporting young people in education, skills & training
Our PS4L programs are currently focused throughout communities in the Western Cape. Mostly in Kensington, Factreton, Maitland, Atlantis, Bredasdorp, Riviersonderend, Joe Slovo, Philippi, Mitchell’s Plain and Cape Town Central.
We are committed to expanding our mission throughout impoverished areas not only in Cape Town, South Africa, but all of Africa and other poverty stricken regions of the world.
PS4L wants to give people – in particular children and young adults – the opportunity to get off the streets and onto the sports fields, where they will be provided with an education and invaluable life skills in the process.
